Dana Hemstreet, CRNP
Dana Hemstreet is an advanced family nurse practitioner who joined Alabama Heart and Vascular Medicine at its beginning in 2012. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas Health Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from Samford University in Birmingham Alabama in 2011 graduating Summa Cum Laude. As well as her cardiology experience, Dana has extensive experience in critical care nursing.
Dana Hemstreet is Dr. Hemstreet’s wife. They have six children and enjoy helping coach their children’s sports teams as well as traveling with their family. Dana also enjoys horseback riding, reading, movies, and relaxing any chance she can get! Most of all, Dana loves working together as a family and watching her children grow into amazing adults.
